Acknowledgements

Washington Research Institute gratefully acknowledges the assistance it has received from its many partners. The many disability services providers in the Washington Association of Postsecondary Education and Disability (WAPED), the Oregon Association of Higher Education and Disability (ORAHEAD) have been extremely helpful as have these two organizations. The Association of Higher Education and Disablity (AHEAD) has provided opportunities at conferences to meet with disability services professionals to get their valuable perspective on transition to college.

We wish to acknowledge the support given by the Center for Change in Transition at Seattle University. The Center was instrumental in promoting Post-ITT Training for teachers throughout Washington State. The Family Education Partnership Program (FEPP) sponsored opportunities to expose families to the Post-ITT web site and materials. The DO-IT program has been an invaluable partner to Post-ITT. Do-ITT staff has generously given of their time and expertise to help direct and promote Post-ITT.

Early in the development of Post-ITT, the Lake Washington School District played a key role. Through their willingness to field test the original concept, Post-ITT was molded into a model that is responsive to the needs of teachers, counselors, parents and (most importantly) students. We appreciate this commitment of time and expertise.

Link to Word-ware - no script Word-ware  has provided technical expertise in the development of the Post-ITT web site. We appreciate their past effort and gratefully acknowledge the contribution of database services that allow us to continue to use the Post-ITT resource data base.

The Post-ITT Guidance Activities book is the product of several contributing authors. In the early years of the project, Debbie Staub and Crista Shaw structured and drafted many of the Activities. Their initial effort was revised and augmented by Jennifer MacKillop, Kristin Rytter, and Debra Zawada.

Finally, we would like to acknowledge the thousands of students, their parents and teachers who have used Post-ITT and given us their feedback. We have tried to be responsive and appreciate them for helping us.
